Your SI personal assistant

Tell it what’s
on your mind.

The job you’re putting off. The shopping you need. The question you haven’t asked. In Planner, your SI assistant is Percy Planner.

Say what needs doing. Your assistant asks for the missing detail and prepares a task you can check.

Example conversation
  1. You: I need to book the car in before Friday.
  2. Percy: How much time would you like to set aside?
  3. You: Half an hour should do it.
  4. Percy: Here’s a task for you to check.
  5. Ready when you are

    Awaiting acceptance

From “I need to” to a useful next step.

Start with what needs doing. Percy can help you supply the people, timing and detail a workable plan needs. These are illustrative ways to ask.

  1. A project you keep putting off

“Help me sort the spare room.”

Talk through the jobs, estimate the time and decide who is involved. Review a project with smaller tasks, then reserve a focus block for doing the work.

    How project time works
  2. Preparation before the day

“Help me get ready for the birthday meal.”

Start with the meal as a fixed event. Ask for preparation, such as buying a card, with an estimate and a deadline relative to that event. Check the proposal before adding it to your plan.

    Keep important dates in view
  3. An everyday job in a busy week

“I need half an hour to book the car in.”

Give Percy the deadline and who is doing the job. Once you approve the task, Planner’s scheduling engine looks for time around work, school and appointments. The garage appointment itself is a separate fixed event.

    Plan around the household

Helpful by choice.
Yours to approve.

Percy does not get a free hand with your calendar. Proposed changes need your approval and follow the same household permissions as the rest of Planner.

The scheduling engine finds the time. Percy helps you express and organise the work. You can use Planner without chatting to an assistant.

Already think with ChatGPT?

Planner also has a separate assistant connection. An authorised connected assistant can read the information you allow and propose supported changes. You review the proposal and reply ACCEPT before it is applied.

You need your own account with the external assistant. Availability and provider charges depend on that service.

A few things to know.

Percy has a usage allowance and can make mistakes. Check the people, dates and details in a proposal. It does not remember personal conversations between chats.

What Percy can help with depends on the Planner tools you have switched on and the information you have access to.
